01 August 2012 | Moscow Foundation for Venture Capital Investment Promotion Announces Selection of Legal Entities for Pre-IPO Financing of Innovative Companies from Moscow

Moscow Foundation for Venture Capital Investment Promotion launched a competitive selection of entities for the purpose of a joint Pre-IPO financing of Moscow innovative companies which are intending to go public Moscow Stock Exchange within the Innovation and Investment Market (IIM).

The initiative of the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Moscow is implemented with the support of RVC and Moscow Stock Exchange.

The Foundation on a competitive basis chooses the listing agents and investors who specialize in preparing companies for IPO and undertakes to co-finance selected projects.

The Foundation provides each team with the certain amount of financing. Listing agent decides independently which company to fund considering the fact of co-financing from the Foundation.

The Foundation lend money in the form of investment loan deferred payment till IPO

The list of listing agents and limits on them are approved by the Foundation Supervisory Board.

Expected conditions of co-financing are the following:

• Investment limits per company – from 1 million to 10 million;

• The form of fund provision - investment loans with deferred repayment before IPO;

• Two thirds of the Fund and one third of the listing agent.
